As you may have noticed, I am starting to take breakfast seriously. Not in a “get my macros” kind of way, more of a “go big or go home” kind of way.

Breakfast is not only the most important meal of the day because it kick starts your metabolism and blah blah blah, it’s also a massive psychological boost to the start of the day. The right breakfast kicks you right up the arse and you honestly feel unstoppable.

Eating a good breakfast just makes the day seem a little bit brighter and hopeful. Even if it’s a Monday or whatever, you can do it because you’re full of delicious goodness.

Because it’s Friday, I decided that I wanted something a little bit spectacular for breakfast. I love a good burrito or a bowl of delicious, healthy oats; but, this morning I wanted something that makes the people at my work shake their head at the sheer ridiculousness of my breakfast (you know who you are…), the only caveat being that it had to be healthy.
